Why should we support the Coachella Valley Small Business Expo?
- A number of good organizations help kids with mentorships and scholarships and the Valley has created some amazing young minds. But unless there are jobs our best and brightest will leave.
- Small business owners here in the Valley would like to create more jobs but it’s challenging because of the climate: in the winter business is great but in the summer not so much.
- One way Valley businesses can succeed and create jobs is to encourage our clients to buy local and encourage our businesses to buy more from each other. The Expo gives us a convenient and fun way to see what small businesses are offering locally. So I encourage exhibitors and guests to check out each booth and ask…can I buy from this business rather than somebody outside the Valley?
- Healthy local businesses support our real estate values and give residents more options to shop, dine and find quality services.
- And healthy local businesses create more jobs and a place near home for our local young people to land.
